I believe you misspelled "awesome trenchcoat and baseball cap combo", good sir.
As with all the earlier gameplay videos I just sat with my mouth slightly agape blissfully starring at my screen for the duration of that. I mean, ok, as far as I can tell there was no prompt for dragging bodies, and the vehicle physics looked a bit rudimentary, but that's about all the nitpicking I can do. This game just starts looking more and more incredible the more I see of it. I liked how the shopclerk slowly eased over towards the alarm-button after seeing the newsreport, I bet if you're quick enough on the draw you can persuade him not to press it. And all the multiplayer stuff looks pretty neat.

Wait, there is fast-paced stealth gameplay in this game ?
I was already impressed by the hacking possibilities and realistic interactions. I just hope there will be non-lethal weapons and gun's supressors. Hence , there is even a reputation system according to the morality of our actions.
Now this is getting interesting..

Actually, it looks like reputation and morality are being kept separate, and I love that. Reputation is just your public image, dependent on actions that people witness you doing, but then you can at the same time be a total bastard when noone's looking and noone will know about it but you. I'm guessing the opposite is true as well, like maybe you wanna foster an image of being public enemy no.1, but then you can still help people out with things without anyone knowing.

This looks amazing. Almost enough to over-ride my vow to never pre-order.

I really can't see what's getting you guys so excited :/
The main hacking feature is nice, it's the first time it's used in a video game (and okay I'm a bit grumpy because I've been working on a similar game mechanic for a while now) but everything else looks so boring. At the very least it does nothing to alleviate my previous fears of extreme gamification.

Taking on anonymous actions, huh? Kinda reminds me RDRedemption when you're wearing the mask, which prevents your reputation being affected ; yet here in Watch Dogs it works also in a virtual manner through hacking.
I.e: stealing somebody bank account funds, or donate money in an anonymous way, though I'm not so sure about the second one.

Hopefully the game is more than just a glorified "modern day Assassin's Creed".
(
http://au.ign.com/articles/2014/03/12/watch-dogs-minimum-specs-revealed) System requirements are certainly helluva high.
Quote:
Answering fan questions on Twitter, creative director Jonathan Morin listed the following as the minimum your rig will need to run Watch Dogs:
Processor: IntelCore 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMDPhenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz
Memory: 6GB RAM
Video card: 1024 VRAM DirectX 11 Shader 5.0
Sound Card: DirectX9
Hard drive: 25 GB
Morin says that these are the official minimum specs. Recommended specs have not been announced yet.

Hah, so Eagleland via Frenchmen?

The CIA is lying to the Senate and this game comes out to glorify digital power as if it was something like shooting spiderwebs out of your palms. The questions it really should ask is if anyone - democratically elected or not - is ready to deal with this. Or if it's just a one-way ticket to totalitarianism, whichever way you turn it. And if there is anything we can do about this. And these questions should be posed from someone affected by these Kafkaesqe powers, instead of wielding them with the glee of a 15 year old loser who brought his dad's shotgun to school. Whoo, yeah! I'm omnipotent now!
I know it's just a game. But that doesn't excuse it, especially if video games want to be treated as part of a grown up culture.
