That one shouldn't be too hard to find, there was a hint for it, I think.
I really hate it when I miss the obvious ones.
was your hint for the
override switch? I tried that, but didn't get the 'secret found' message
TheNightTerror on 3/10/2006 at 05:22
Huh. I could've sworn I got a secret found message when I used the switch to move the panel. Maybe try tweaking it again?

NightTerror:
I already switched the power to the broken generator, ticking off the objective... maybe that's why?
TheNightTerror on 3/10/2006 at 07:24
I doubt it; I just tried doing things in that order, (normally I just take a fire arrow and blow up the coil) and the secret still activated properly. The switch that moves the panel is the secret, not the override switch itself, but you would've had to have moved the panel to get at the override . . . very strange indeed.

oh well... I know I got it :thumb:
kind of
with lots of help :(

That secret ticked off for me when I opened the panel, no problems...

(normally I just take a fire arrow and blow up the coil)I didn't know you could do that!
I quite like the way that there seem to be no less than three ways to overcome that particular puzzle - good work on the author's part for thinking to do that!
I think an ideal puzzle should have multiple solutions.

I just had a rather amusing incident happen in this mission. :D I decided to ghost as much of the mission as possible before reviving Carolina, but when I started picking the lock to the back door, both guards heard, and one went to alert level 3. I managed to get the goodies I needed, but when I came back downstairs, the two AIs went after me. I started trying to run around to get some distance between us, but all I ended up doing was getting every damned AI in the level after me! :laff:
I finally realized I was screwed and flew into the bathroom, gave Carolina the antidote, leapt onto the bathtub, and flew into the window. All the guards were screaming at me, and when Carolina woke up . . . :D it was absolute mayhem. Everybody started hacking on each other while I was cowering behind the curtains. Good thing all that blood spilled on tile, it would've been hell to get out of the carpet!
The AIs are very fun to play with in this one . . .

I had to cancel my usual ghosting style close to the end of this one in order to stop her from killing everyone...
TheNightTerror on 6/10/2006 at 10:46
You don't necessarily have to revive her in the first place, I don't think it's required by the objectives. You just have to unlock the door, I think.

Now that the results are out, I can finally reply to this thread properly. :D Thank you everyone who said anything good about the mission, I really appreciate the feedback. :thumb: It's so much better than hearing nothing at all about the mission, that was the thing I was worried about the most when it was released.
And, now that the results are out, I released a minor update to the mission, which I've had ready for quite a while. I fixed a few little things, optimised the special effects, moved that piece of loot that everyone had trouble with, and added a German translation. Nothing overwhelming, but worth mentioning. :)
