Water Contest mission - Sneaking Through Venice Sept. 22/06 - by TheNightTerror

This level reminded me a lot of Tomb Raider 2's Venice level ... particularly the mechanist on the balcony, and I was half expecting some puzzles from that level to make it here (balcony jumping, maybe some rope arrow opportunities, although maybe there were some and I missed them.)
Anyway, I can't help but think the author knew about that level and had it a little in mind while building. The whole idea offers great material with great gameplay potential. I'm glad someone thought of it.
Was there a story about the underwater guy trapped by the gate?

I'm sure that guy was supposed to be the chappie you see floating away at the start of the FM? Not sure where his hat went to though.

No the chap at the beginning was the green/white dude (benefit of the doubt). I know because I immediately tried to sink his ship. :ebil:

anyone else not have the negreto objective tick off?
he killed himself falling in the water, so maybe suicide doesn't count?
:cheeky:

If you have to kill someone as an objective, you have to kill him by yourself. It normally doesn't count, if he has got an "accident" or gets killed by someone/something else.

huh. thanks. i think this is the first time that has ever happened to me.

Are you sure that Negreto is in the water. I thought so also, but then I checked
under the bedroom with the round table.
The game has a way of keeping track of who the "Firer" is that caused the death of an AI. Since it wasn't the player, whichever object number "player" got assigned, it never fulfilled the objective.
