Complete outright spoiler:
Look for sections of the ceiling that look different - there is a pattern made out of brighter patches of glyphs up there.I'm totally confused here!
I know there must be a way across there, but I don't understand what to do here.
Can someone help me?
O, and how DO I lit the torch? I tried a fire arrow, but that failed.
Swing the torch at either a fire elemental or the torch you lit with the heiroglyphs on it. (I'm not sure if you can light it using the flame jets...)

Look at the ceiling and watch out for a slightly darker line of symbols. Follow this path over the pit and make sure you don't stray off it too far or you'll fall off.
OK. I'm in trouble again. I got
7 sunthingies and I know I need some more, but I don't know where to go now. I'm still walking the corridor with the two rooms: one with the three doors that open when you lit the pedestal in the middle and the other one with the sumbeam. I read I had to find an invisible wall somewhere, but if my life depended on it: I can't find it. I lit the torch and try to "read" the walls, but came up with nothing
I need more help taffers. Please?!
Is there a walkthrough for this game BTW?

Gloria, I wrote up a quickie walkthrough as I played. I'll send it to you and maybe it will help. :)

Late playing due to new PC acquisition. Now, ... catching up ... [pant, pant, pant] ...
What an unusual playing experience this mission was for me! On my first attempt, I stopped playing at nearly the beginning thinking something along the lines of "ok, this is going to be a chore to play, no fun to be had at all. I'll come back to it later when I have more patience, and TRUDGE my way through it just so I can honestly say that I've played it when I vote [heavy sigh with exaggerated head-shaking and eye-rolling]". So, after finishing all other Water Contest missions, I reloaded, made it past the column-jumping, and BOOM, my whole attitude changed.
I LOVED it! The puzzles were interesting and fun to figure out. The only help I ended up needing from this thread was for the very first corridor at the start. Also, obviously, the technical jaw-droppery was (as previously and repeatedly lauded) phenomenal!
Author, you're awesome! Now, how in the hell did you do this stuff??!! :)
