if i use my compass this will be like descriped. at the starting point here is a paper, Then a run in south direction and turn left. in teh middel of tehsecond straigt the compass turn for about 180 degress.

I push the large pedestal thingie over the jets and they act like the pedestal thing is not there, and still kill you if you get too close.Re-reading the list of fixes,

It really shouldn't have, I tested it multiple times. Weird.
You can bypass the puzzle by pressing a small button hidden on the floor, in a corner of the alcove where you found the pushable thing.

Gotta say I did have my troubles at the beginning when I had to use my compass to realize that I was being teleported and have to actually go back the way I came from. I guess I ignored the rather obvious clue of having to buy the compass in the start screen. The 2. time I had to look sth. up was the torch that has to be lit with the fire from a fire elemental. But if you know the ropes it is a pretty damn cool puzzle mission. My favourite puzzle was the pattern that had to be formed by switching the plates. That´s a game I played a million times when I was a child :D Very cool! :thumb:
