Uh-oh, do I have a problem Freddy? 'cuz
The tablet doesn't highlight
:tsktsk:
ffox on 10/10/2006 at 20:36
You can't frob the tablet to begin with. Fill the basin with water and "use" the concentrated holy water on it. Then, when the water is lit up, you can frob the tablet.

hmmmm
I have turned the water on and filled the basin, then I added the vile and the water lit up but the tablet is still unfrobbable (is that even a word) I'll go back to a previous save and do it all again... thanks. I'm back and it worked this time... I thought the water was lit up but it wasn't heh silly me
Thank's Mr. Fox... 10 hammers for this WCFM *shakes head* so impressed with the talent of this community and all the helpful taffers!!!!!!
Off to vote... good luck to all the authors.

And you did, but I would argue that it's not my fault that my EP interferes with this mission, since those objects are the only 'acceptable' objects in the whole mission for me.
My objects aren't broken, all the other ones are! :cheeky:
Also, I had previously overlooked the possibility of palette customization. It's a bit of a shortcut to only override darkpal.pcx to change all the 8-bit objects. If the author had simply used all custom objects, there wouldn't be this problem.
And, as you point out, he could've used the EP objects as a base. (But considering that the most significant improvements in EP are textures... kinda moot.)
So I don't use EP for playing FMs. But I have it loaded in my Dromed folder.

Well, I just started this mission and I have to say its very neat. While I hate undead missions - this one has me hooked. Although, a little warning on it might have been nice. Do not play this mission at 3:30 in the morning! :wot: *gulps*
I just stepped into a room and had my heart stop.
When the door slammed shut behind me, someone screamed and I whirl around to find a red light flickering in the barred window and some man groaning about something crumbling. . .then vanishing. I'm not sure what he said and I'm sure not playing that again!
It was too sudden to even jumped, but my heart definitely missed a few beats there.
Anyway, can someone give me a nudge? I'll pick this up again when its a bit lighter outside - and in here. I've gotten through the first gate, and found
the Keeper's secret room, and the tunnel above it
- but I can't seem to get anywhere. I mean,
I follow the tunnel to the end and there's a grate that I can't lift
and nothing apparently to touch or do. Outside I got into one room before the next gate, but apart from having a bad scare there wasn't much useful. The other door is locked (as is the office/storeroom in the first sector) and can't be picked. I'm missing somethign, obviously. I'm just not sure *what*.
None of the other hints in this thread seem to be quite so early in the game. lol Perhaps its just because i'm tired and should be sleeping. But eh!

In the small room where you nearly got a heart attack, there is a key to be found.
Look into the barrel.
The crate at the end of the tunnel: hit it with your sword :)
Well... GREAT FM, my favourite from the WC contest!!!
Congratulations to the anonymous author!
There is a small "bug" with the water:
At the upper sewer level there are two connected water basins, but the water levels are different for some time!
(Until you open both water doors)...
Its not like the physics book says ;)
How do I get the objective checked to open the double gates near Sector 14? Each time I approach them I loose health points and bounce backwards. I can't find a switch anywhere!
Thanks taffers!
BTW, this is a fantastic mission......one of my favs.
