That is great news,
Yandros - a "full-blown" version of What Lies Below...yummm :D
But don't go overdoing it, man. (Rose Cottage, DCE, DP3... :cheeky: )
I wouldn't call it "full-blown" either, I'm not planning to enlarge it very much.
And of the three other FMs you mentioned, one is releasing very soon, one is my focus, and the third doesn't exist. :cheeky:

...I want to thank you Yandros for this fantastic mission.
Althought I refused to play it for a long time due to the title (it was crying: UNDEAD!!!) and I only played it after starting the WC themed missions -and liked them all!
Any way, thank Builder, I finally played it so I did not missed such a priceless
gem!
About the grayscale, it was so appropriate to the situation , do not think it needs changing(maybe just less flickering of the lights?):erg:
I have to say that I am realy gratefull to you and to everyone who keeps this poor soul G. alive and stealing all these years:thumb:

Ah yes, What Lies Below.
The monotone of the atmosphere is really nice...although to be honest, it kinda made things really hard by making the keeper glyphs even harder to see. That's the main reason why I kept getting stuck in the level. I wouldn't mind seeing this type of atmosphere again, if it was implemented better, like the intensity of the monotone increases around supernatural beings and decreases when the atmosphere isn't as haunted, such as that 'secret' keeper passageway. Although with the thief engine the way it is, I'm not sure if such a thing is realistically possible
The voice acting wasn't bad, for someone trying to replicate the voice of Garret. Not that I take offense to it at all, but I never thought he would use profanity in his dialog. The ending was fairly nice, and I guess reflects the actual character of Garret. It's also the first time i've seen a first in-game cutscene. Pretty cool, I might add.
Overall, definitely worth a try. You'll probably get stuck a few times, but its still fun and worth playing.

Bloody Hell! One of my favorite missions. Brought me some solid nightmares the last time I was playing it:) And the last time I enjoyed it, I had no problem at all, but now, when a couple of years passed (and I forgot most of the details) I can't find the key in the barrel in the first location, before walking through the first glyph! First I looked carefully, then I frobbed every box and barrel in every room, then i exploded them with the grenade - no key. Feeling dumb :p
Yandros on 3/1/2011 at 13:23
That's because the key in the barrel is in the second area! :D
There is no key before you frob and walk through the first glyph. Once inside that room, you'll find the first key under a desk.

thanks! then the problem is even worse - i frob the glyph, it turns blue but i can't pass through the goddamn wall :( :cheeky:

It sounds like you don't have the patched version of gen.osm. Try this:
* Download this patched version: (
http://www.wearytaffer.com/storage/gen.zip)
* Rename the gen.osm file in your T2 directory
* Unzip the downloaded file into your T2 directory
* Start a new game and see if frobbing the glyph makes the wall disappear

Yandros: I'm happy! It worked:) My huge thanks and Happy New Year:) Hope, someday I'll write music for your FM:)
