I take it that you see the puzzle fade to black and nothing else.
No, the background behind it changes from red to green. Nothing else happens.
And the files/dates I have all match what you posted.

ZB,
Very strange. I haven't played the final release, but I don't think that aspect of it would have changed in the last few hours of development. My video card may display it differently from yours. I have an Nvidia 6800 GT with 8185 drivers. 9xxx drivers don't work right. Regardless of the color, yours stops and mine doesn't. Since our scripts agree, I can't think of anything else other than a bad mission ZIP file or a bad T2 install. Since nobody else seems to have that problem, if I were you I would (a) first use darkloader to reinstall the OM's and make sure they work, (b) download the mission again and reinstall it.
Is it a crash, or does it just sit there and can be quit normally?
I hate to take up this thread with trouble-shooting, but I want you to be able to play it. :)

Well unless there's much more to the mission at this point, I figure I've essentially finished it anyway.

When I solve it, it looks like this (don't click if you don't want to see):

The background then turns red, quickly fading to greeny-grey. Events then proceed exactly as smithpd describes.
The differences are because he has an Nvidia card while mine is ATI. During testing it appeared that the ATI card performed better in this FM.
You should continue if you can - the best is still to come!

ZB, do all nine glyphs light up like in FreddyFox's picture? Once that happens, I get the scene like Peter described. You try to get it working, the end of this mission is the most fun part.

I am seriously considering breaking with 8 years of tradition and going with ATI. The latest thing, that 9xxx drivers don't work, is the last nail....

Well, this one gets a couple of points for being the first to make me jump!

This one made me feel like I was playing T3. I really loved it. The new bombs came in handy a couple of times, but mostly you can sneak around. Using the glyphs and those poles was awesome. I really liked the ending. Someone really outdid themselves on this FM in my opinion. I will play again!:)

Okay, I'm an idiot. I thought you only had to get the outer ring of glyphs lit up. Silly me.
Nice ending!
Good mission over all. Too much emphasis on switch-hunting, but great atmosphere.

There's no need to be rude.

ZylonBane,
I'm sorry that you think me rude. I really don't understand what you're refering to.:tsktsk:
