You can in fact run through the place willy nilly and accomplish stuff, turn around and flashbomb your pursuers and kill them. I don't recommend it though.

I quite like throwing a oil flask in front of a chair and watch a puppet go flying into the chair and toppling over it. The fun can be increased even more by placing a mine on the chair.:D
