Hi everybody, something odd keeps happening with Dromed. Every time I load my .mis with my custom .gam, Garrett is unable to frob anything or to draw any weapon and some objects are replaced by those nasty white shapes, the gamesys is still the same but I'm forced to set_gamesys. It's not a big deal still it's inconvenient and it has started yesterday whereas I haven't made any changes in my mission. Someone could help me out with it ?

Have you load gen.osm ?

Better use cow instead of mis and gam, if you're still working in DromEd. Set the gamesys if you want to test it in Darkloader/FMSelector or if you want to release the FM. You'll get less confusion with cows.

I loaded both basical scripts and NVscript. The mission can be released in .cow format ? I always thought that .cow was a problematical format (even if I never understood what was the difference). I'll try this out

No, but for a final ùission you must had .miss and .gam, but for the creation of an mission in dromed, .cow is more flexible if you forget to save the .gam when you modify its.

No. Of course not

cow is the best choice if you're working in DromEd. cow is mis+gam. You can't accidentally overwrite a gam with a mis-file (I guess that's what happended to you), if you're using cows.

Weird bug with Dromed
Well that certainly narrows it down.

I have reloaded p_portal to see if the gamesys was the cause but it works perfectly fine though I would have to do again what I've been doing for hours. So I have reinstalled everything and now it's ok... I guess. Still I'm going to save as .cow now, just in case. Thanks :cheeky:
