A bug I think
It happened in Audale, I shot the drunken City watch by the inn, and carried him
near Drept's workshop. When the cutscene ended, something really funny happened:
The City Watch "float" in the air, and Garret was carrying "someone's body", but actually there's nobody upon his shoulder, I tried swap weapons, but he just keep carrying nothing, you know, that was really...:weird:
Seems like them Eidos have some work to do.

There's plenty of little bugs in Thief 3. The chances of us ever getting any kind of fixes for them? About as likely as The Trickster wanting to become a Master Forger.

Some bugs that i recall...
Candles. Didn't always extinguish when frobbed. You could pick up a lit candle and lob it around!
Getting jammed in the architecture. Could have done with a crowbar to free myself.
Collecting loot. Some loot was incredibly difficult to pick up.
Ye olde climbing gloves. These presented new problems by giving us the ability to go where we really shouldn't go. "Hey, look at me, i'm up here!" Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh SPLAT! Falls down to NeverNeverLand and dies!
Chests. Sometimes the only way of collecting their contents was to jump inside and grab them. Getting back out was another matter.
I can't remember any more right now.

How about fire smoke? If you put out a flame, smoke comes out, right? Well, I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, but for me, for the smoke to dissapear, I have to actually sit and watch the whole thing. If I don't, if I look away, I could go through the entire level, go back to that candle, and the smoke animation will pick up from the last momment I saw it.
Oh, and when you KO guard, they occasionally fall on their own swords, killing themselves.
Sluggs on 18/3/2006 at 22:28
Oh yes, the smoke. 'tis true. There's a very similar bug in Unreal 2, from that guy's ciggy. Guards killing themselves? Haven't noticed that one yet but it sound's pretty neat and should be included.

Oh, I've recalled another "funny event"
In Pagan Sanctuary, I used an Oil Flask at them fencers,
one of them slipped down and killed herself with her own sword....:nono:

For me guards kill themselves when they fall on their own torches.
Also, the "rat surfing" can be funny. In the kurshok place, go KO a rat guy and then throw him down at the top of some loooong stairs, jump on him and surf the way down! The added weight makes you go quicker and you can get away from most enemies. Ah, gotta love them rats.

Wow!That cool, I've never tried that!

When I finished the game first time after credits when returned back to main menu, I heard Gamall shooting Garrett with fire balls and Garrett goes "AAAAAAAAARRRGGHHH!!!" after that, Gamall says "Hahahahaaa, you trouble me no longer!" And after this, game takes me back to loading screen because it thought that I had died.
TDS has maybe most bugs in any game I have ever seen. :tsktsk:

That's happend to me at least once. Silly guards, so worried about Garrett. *shakes head*
What I really hate is when you have to jump in a chest to get loot and cannot escape again. There's at least one chest in the clocktower where that has happend to me, but last time I played I did end up being able to steal it, so that was nice.
I get a lot of 'floaters' too. Didn't realize the guards could fly;-)
I've even seen one woman in Capt. Moira's mansion who stepped on one of the cats. She was up in the air right above the poor thing, than came back down again.
