Well, mixed returns at best.
1. Ringwraith. I guess I didn't make it clear that I am the extremely unofficial dev team representative for the time being.
2. Answers.
a) the akimbo thing: Nope. Sorry. But sniping the pigeons is almost as fun.
b) Enviro-suit training: This was an early alpha description for envronmental skills in general, like scuba, hazmat suit, etc... The question it's supposed to answer is "How adept are you at using the tools and techniques that prepare you for high-risk environments?"
c) There are more low-tech weapons than just pepper spray.
d) projectile weapons: There are more than a couple of varieties of handguns and longarms, each with distinct characteristics. Additionally, a player's effectiveness with any given weapon can be manipulated by skill-point allocation, focused augmentation, and in some cases mechanical modification of a specific weapon.
And personally, I think the more you know about this game, the more you'll want to play it.
Did I give too much away?

Nope, you didn't give too much away. I fully agree with you that more information about the gameplay increases the desire to have the actual thing. However, I don't want to know any more about the story than I already know.
On the topic of getting the real thing, can we get an idea of the status of a playable demo?

Sniping pigeons?!
(delighted grin)
Finally - retribution is at hand. Its been five years since that bastard bird shat on my jacket, and I dont plan on cutting any corners....
A few more questions....(worried he's pushing the limit now...)
- System specs for the game? Will it require an ultrakiller machine to run on? Or a decent one.
- Save/Load times. This is something I worry about once in a while......
- the engine behind DE. What are its high/low points?

Since this has turned into a general Q&A thread, what's the current thinking of multiplayer? The last I read about it was a 4 or 5 month old interview saying Some form of deathmatch, and probably something else. I guess the Unreal team has given you all of the multiplayer code used in UT?

Playable Demo: I honest-to-goodness just don't know and I ain't draggin' Warren out of a meeting to ask him.
System specs: The target min-spec machine is 300mhz with a Voodoo1 or equivalent.
Save/Load: On my crap machine at the office? Varies level by level. Nothing over 20 seconds so far. But that's not empirical or even remotely scientific. Map to map transitions are generally under 15 for me.
Engine: Go play Unreal Tournament. My understanding is that the core-renderer hasn't been touched.
Multiplayer: I don't have a concrete answer. I know Warren wants it, and I know there are some balancing issues to deal with that will take more time than we have. My guess is that it will be a patch. That's again NOT official word from Eidos or ION Storm. Just speculation by one nosy network tech.

Regarding the demo, it would be nice to know some time, but it's certainly not pressing. None of us even knew that we'd get a chance to pose a few questions, so any information that you give us is much appreciated.

MIS Monkey: Thanks for the info. Sniping pigeons- awesome! It reminds me of a game I played, Dink Smallwood (actual name
