Oh yeah? And where was all this food that Karras was stockpiling? I scoured every INCH of that Mission and didnt see any food. Where was the food mass? Any amount of food meant to last longer that a week or a month would have been easy to spot. The chamber that Karras was in didnt have any food either. So, where is all this mysterious Karras survival food? LMAO And also, (using your style of argue) shouldnt Karras have said: "now that I have destroyed every living organism, the day shall come when I too breathe in his perfection, after my food supplies run out of course". blah blah blah Who wants to hear about Karras surviving for a week anyways? What kind of a story would that make?!?! He ran this ingenious plan to destroy everything, but wanted to sit around afterwords eating his gruel for a week or a month while he madly reflects on the fact that he destroyed EVERYTHING. Yeah, real cool story!
You forgot about the mechanist freezers, plus maybe you couldn't explore all the Cathedral, maybe there were separated parts that contained the food, and that wasn't planed in the game.

Hint! Hint!
Just fish! Frozen fish!
And NOBODY remembers that there's a big frikkin' River splitting The City in two North to South, flowing to an OCEAN--with abundant food--and fuel (if he's not just using flammable metals or alchemical substances! Hahahahahaha!:eww:
He could eat sea merchants sailing ashore, mouth agape, with a horrible sinking feeling in the pits of their stomachs as they realize they are financially ruined.:laff:

massi, just wait a minute!
On my side of this discussion, I am leaning towards the canon end of things. What you present is fanon. We *know* what is in the Missions because of playing them and Dromed. Your theory is not supported by the facts in the game. However; your passion for Thief is obviously your main drive, and that is something that I totally respect! And besides, you voted The Dark Project as a masterpiece. :ebil:

yes, mechanists were blind and silly, but most importantly they were MADE UP and absolutely DIDN'T FIT in to the Thief universe. just like the robots.

...
wasn't planned in the game.
Read well the sentence above. Mine is just something hypotetical.

a.k.a Fanon which is exactly the point he was trying to make.
