What are the best editors/fan fixes/unoffical patches to streamline Thief 1 - by Poetic thief

I hope someone else here has played Infinity Engine games (Baldur's gate, Icewind Dale etc.) to understand what I'm talking about.
Whenever I re-install an Infinity Engine game, I always go around and look for the latest mods/fan-made fixes / unofficial patches to streamline the game experience. (Things like unlimited arrow stacking help to make inventory management less of a pain in the a**) Does Thief 1 dark project have any of these kinds of things ?
I've played the game in the past, and though it was my favorite gaming experience, I only played up to halfway. Because the size of the missions started to seem too daunting (and I'm a perfectionist who would comb every inch) and there were some weird bugs. So just like with an Infinity engine game, I'm reinstalling it and looking for the latest mods/ fan fixes/ unofficial patches to streamline the gaming experience.

Wow, that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for
I'm also wondering about inventory management, or a stats editor (does this game even use stats ?), or weapon improvements etc.

Nyet. Nope. Nein.
No stats, no weapon improvements, no inventory management hacks. It's not that kind of game. It's not that kind of game engine.

It sounds like you haven't played the game yet...
I still think that giving the original installation a chance can save you hours of searching for mods just because you will like the atmosphere much more than high-res stuff. Many do.

Hmm...the servants keep walking around looking for me with an invisible sword in their hand, and they cannot find me even if I bump into them !
Is this a bug or is this how servants behave in thief 1 ?

The servants don't have an invisible sword... they're unarmed.
Of course the whole point of the game is for them not to know you're there... so if you've alerted them already, you're missing it.
