You don't put it in your pocket, stoopid. They have this cute little purse accessory you can put it in...
BUT IS IT GUCCI

I like my iPod touch. I use it mostly for a Japanese vocabulary flashcard app; that's the kind of thing it's best for IMO.
When I got to Japan for my study abroad, I bought a DS within the first week with the Kanji-dictionary cart. Such a lifesaver.

You know where I end up buying most of my games? Well Amazon would be first. But after that...
You know, he scared me the first time, but now I'm kind of used to it. The raspy voice, well more like half squeak, half laughter, is what put me off initially I guess. And his office is a fairly standard apartment on the 3rd floor of a red brick building; you'd expect a stereotypical basement with leaky drainpipes from the first impression. Well, he calls it an "office" but its just a bunch of shelves with used games everywhere. Used, as he assured me, has a lot of meanings when it comes to people he dealt with in the past. I've never been certain if he's just trying to play me up, make it sound all more mysterious than it is, or if it's just a byproduct of the same thing that gives his sheepish grin that peculiar odor of buckfast wine, Belfast's finest, as he, once again, assured me. No matter, it's cheap... he's cheap. One or two quid per game. And there's some gems in there to be found - the original System Shock, still sealed in the packaging, untouched by man's hands for years, if the little dust pileup is any indication. Or maybe resealed, I think he might have a sealer in his bedroom. He doesn't let his customers in there. Never. It's not part of his office...

Just got Fear3 on steam. Can't play it for a few days unfortunately.

I bought FEAR on Steam and got fucked over. Not only they also added Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate which will clutter my game list forever but I cannot actually download FEAR without downloading EP and PM at the same time. That's right, next time I want to play FEAR I need to download fucking seventeen gigabytes.
inselaffe on 29/6/2011 at 18:30
Seventeen Gigabytes? I suppose at least you're not on dialup. Does each "add on" make you download the engine and all of the common components again then or something? I guess it must do - i mean it can't really be THAT big can it?
Bjossi on 29/6/2011 at 19:43
My FEAR folder (With Extraction Point installed.) is less than 7 GBs. There is no way in hell PM is 10 GBs big.

It's more than halfway there, actually. I checked the folder - 'fear ultimate shooter edition' is 16.6 GB. Subfolder XP2 (which is PM I guess) is 7.2 gigs because it was a stand-alone expansion. There's also a movie folder with a making of and stuff that clocks in at nearly a gig and a half, so I guess that explains most of the rest.

It's making you install all 3 at the same time? How is it possible that they sell each of those as separate items, then?
Edit: Nevermind, I guess all 3 are listed as one title on Steam. Sucks to be you.

I have the steam version as well. I'm wondering though (as I haven't downloaded them from my library) if you pause the other two manually from the desktop, then finish downloading just FEAR, if you can then try playing when it's finished or if the game will fail to launch.

Downloads pause when you're playing.
