(
http://www.gaslampgames.com/) I'm gonna be buying this.
Dungeons of Dredmor. A classic roguelike, moderned up for the masses. It'll only cost a fiver on Steam when it comes out July 13th (or thereabout).

Downloads pause when you're playing.
u casn actually circumvent this by alt-tabbing and resuming the download. It usually works.

Does it have this behaviour for games that aren't multiplayer? Makes sense for something that requires low network latency but retarded for an exclusively SP game, especially when it would be just a case of flagging a game as SP ONLY

Steam always pauses while a game is running, regardless of what game. You can alt-tab out and unpause, however.

I have the steam version as well. I'm wondering though (as I haven't downloaded them from my library) if you pause the other two manually from the desktop, then finish downloading just FEAR, if you can then try playing when it's finished or if the game will fail to launch.
Wait, so it lists each game individually in your game list? What happens if you just 'delete local content' on the expansion packs? That works for other games if you want to cancel downloading them.
Oh and I'm buyin' whatever indie stuff is on sale if Valve gets off their asses and starts the summer sale tomorrow.

I didn't experiment with it yet but from what I can see the EP and PM aren't separate downloads at all, just tied to the xboxhueg FEAR download in some dumb way.

Oooh, a roguelike that isn't ADOM that I won't have to spend 3 weeks with just to get accustomed to the interface? Count me in!

£2.50 for Disciples II: Gallean's Return? Yeah, I'd hit it.
Anyway, I need to pick up an audio card as soon as I can get the money. I just put together a whole new rig, and The Witcher 2 is one pretty game, I'll tell you that, but God
damnit is the onboard sound a piece of shit. I'm really kicking myself over not going for the Pro edition of the P8Z68-V, that was supposed to have a high-end audio solution, especially since I ended up wasting the £30 it would've been on top on getting RAM that I can't use to full speed out of negligence. It's really disappointing too, since the integrated audio in my previous AsRock mainboard, also run-of-the-mill Realtek, was really good, whereas this one's got a shit frequency range and on top of that picks up massive interference too.
