I noticed some people get all excited about it, but didnt pay it no mind

Yeah, it was connected to a Hollywood Video. The Hollywood shut down though, so so goeth the Game Crazy.

I dunno, most of the views of DNF I've seen range from 'meh' to 'tripe', although I'm aware that a few people here really seemed to like it. I've read enough about it to think it's not the sort of game for me, indeed.

Why on earth would you pay $30 for a used copy when it was on sale new for $25?!

This month I will likely buying the new Red Orchestra and I strongly advise anyone who wants to play a tactical FPS to do the same.

I tried Red Orchestra back when it was a UT(2kX?) mod. It was almost a decade ago I think. They went commercial huh?

They went commercial years ago. Where the fuck have you - wait nevermind.

I'm also interested in Perfect Dark Zero, but a review I read made me do a facepalm. Joanna now has regen health and a two weapon limit apparently.
I'm certainly not a "Halo hater". The first one was great for the most part and the second was okay too... but just because I like chocolate milkshakes doesn't mean I want everything I drink to taste like one.
Developers, I beg you. Stop doing this to first person games.

Regenerating health is not nearly as big a sin- in fact, I feel it's probably okay- as some of the level design in the first Halo.
