no, but it incurrs a $20 monthly fee on your internet bill
lost_soul on 18/10/2011 at 00:37
Is that a joke? I checked the FAQ on the site and it didn't say anything about monthly bills. It just said you can download the game on another computer, transfer it over and authenticate it on your target machine. That is what I would do because my connection sucks. 3mbps would take like a week to download the GTA series. My buddy has like 40 mbps or something ridiculous like that.

Yes, it was a joke.

Do they still require .NET to even run? lol
Fucking developers using industry standard libraries that have been out for almost 10 years, provide a much more secure and safe execution environment, and come pre-installed with latest version of the OS

Porn industry?

God, .Net was/is only required for Catalyst Control Panel installs. You have always been able to install a basic driver only without it. Fuck off about .Net already Koki, you are turning into Lost Soul.

Bought some shit. Shit= Deus Ex: Human Revolution 'Missing Link' DLC and while I was futzing around in M$'s virtual kiosk, remembered that I needed to finish L.A. Noire so I bought the R* Pass that gives you everydamnthing DLC for a ten spot.

What's stopping me from buying "The Missing Link" is that it carries a price tag of $14.99 USD, which is $5 more expensive than my standards/expectations of DLC. I've shelved it into the "wait for a Steam sale" pile, alongside NV: "Lonesome Road".
