Got a 40% deal code off one Logitech product yesterday, so I blew it on some G930 headphones.

@ EVA: God, you really are hung up on that whole Horse Armor trope/meme, aren't you? It isn't horse armor. It is an upgraded horse that makes traversing the great distances and uncertain terrain in RDR much faster and smoother. It is no different than buying a suped-up car in GTA for $1.
Ok, on topic. Thanks henke! I loved your summary for Deadly Premonition and it inspired a purchase today. Can't wait to sink my thumbs into this one.
Also snagged a mic/headset for XBL (henke you promised me a co-op run through Perfect Dark: Zero when I got it. I agree, it was MUCH too frustrating and confusing with only you able to voice chat. Hit me up for co-op/mp whatever-the-fuck game you wish).
And finally(!) got my grubby little paws on Bionic Commando 2009 and Rainbow Six Vegas for XBox. I have R6V for Steam, but for $ 2 I figured what the hell, maybe I can get some co-op with a TTLG-er or 3.
As always, PM me for mah gamzorztag.

You do realise that the original Oblivion horse armours weren't purely just cosmetic reskins, yeah? They were (
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Horse_Armor) actual in-game items with buffed stats attached to them.

Putting armor on the horse has the game effect of increasing the health of the horse. For most horses the health doubles, but with a max of 750. See the Horses page for full information.

Except I'd find a nice sports car with good handling in the game itself and store it in one of my garages OR just get a (
http://gtgan.blogspot.com/2011/08/download-now-gta-iv-only-v1.html) car mod pack.

I buy horsies in LotRO. Then again, my location tag may have given that away.

I don't think that was his point.

Heard some music on Youtube from Alexander Brandon and liked it. I went and checked out his web site and he was selling it in whatever format we want, so I bought the FLAC version.
I wonder how many people actually buy the lossless version...
gunsmoke on 21/10/2011 at 01:32
Dunno, but lossless isn't my cup of tea. The files are way too large and I am fine with a nice, high bit-rate .mp3.

DOOOOOOD, DON'T BE A FILI, FELA, *15 MINUTES OF TRYING TO FIND "PHILISTINE" IN DICTIONARY* DON'T BE A CAVEMAN, MAN
LOSSLESS IS THE WAY 2 GO BRO MP3Z ARE FOR DEAF PEOPLE
I LISTEN ONLY TO MASTER COPIES ON MY 648239ZX PLATINUM CRYSTAL GOLD SOUND SYSTEM THAT'S WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ALL YOU HACKY-SACK PLAYING HIPSTERS  AND IT SOUNDS SOOOOOOOO RICH AND LUSH AND AMAZING
I USED TO LISTEN TO CDS BUT I KEPT HEARING NEW SCRATCHES EVERY TIME I PAID SOMEONE TO SOLDER TOGETHER A NEW $400 AMP FOR ME
lost_soul on 21/10/2011 at 03:14
lol @ dethtoll.
The point of lossless is preservation. If you download an mp3 today and somebody creates a better codec in half a decade that you want to use, you have to convert the mp3 to the new format. This means quality was lost when the mp3 was created AND more quality will be lost when you convert to whatever the new format is.

lol @ lost_soul
If you actually gave a fuck about preservation you'd just get the CD. Lossless is for audiophiles who can't be bothered with physical media.
