I wanted to see it too, so thanks for linking.

BF:Bad Company 2 (never played any of the BF games but I hear good things about this one. Mainly interested in the SP campaign)
Que? The fantastic MP is the draw card to BC2. The SP campaign is pretty mediocre and short.

Stuff I plan to buy when it comes out:
Trine 2
Risen 2
Skyrim
Possibly DX:HR and Thief 4, though I'm not 100% sure about these.
I'd also like to get the DLCs for Fallout: New Vegas, but not at €10 each. Maybe there'll be a Steam sale? But more likely I'll have to wait until the GotY version comes out.

@Eva Oh I'm sure I'll try out the MP a few times but I rarely get hooked on MP. So, if I just want a good SP FPS I'm better off going with Crysis 2?
I gotta say I'm leaning towards Skate 3 though, out of the ones I listed. Likely be getting lots of PC games on the Steam sale so it might be nice to have a good 360 game going too.

henke: my 2c - Crysis 2 is... okay, just about. It's not awful, it's not great. It's a corridor/building shooter with a couple of streets and parks and shit. Looks nice, plays nice, some really nice set pieces, and there's a fantastic soundtrack, but the whole isn't the sum of its parts. The experience just doesn't stick in the end... the moment you're done, it's immensely forgettable.

Yes actually. Crysis 2 has a very good campaign. Well written, strong narrative; good missions; and utterly solid game mechanics.
Hiring sci-fi author Richard K. Morgan to write the story really seemed to have paid off for Crytek. (Unlike Valve with Marc Laidlaw.) One detail I really liked is that they actually bothered to explain why you're a mute protagonist.

Wait, what
Strong story? Maybe I had higher expectations because I've read tons of sci-fi, but apart from some groanworthy 'twists' you could have seen from a mile away because they were so ham-handedly telegraphed, Richard K. Morgan just threw a bunch of trendy words at a wall and went with whatever stuck

Crysis 2 is boring, poorly written and half-heartedly designed with, at its worst, inadequate game mechanics.
Moreover, having to retcon or overexplain why a protagonist is silent is the worst idea in the world.
So, basically, everything that EvaUnit02 says but in reverse.

Wait, what
Strong story?
By mainstream game standards, it was certainly strong. Better than the terrible JJ Abrams/Damon Lindelof-esque piss weak, poorly delivered narrative of the Half-Life series. THIS WEEK ON LOST, WE MAKE SHIT UP AS WE GO ALONG!!!!!!111
EDIT:- For clarification, I should've said mainstream action game standards. (Although a lot of RPGs don't set the world alight with their writing either, but that's a discussion for a different thread.)
