waaah waah I'm not the one who attempted to prove boastful culinary superiority with a pizza that looked like 70's furniture.
[ ] boastful culinary superiority
[x] standard internet hijinks
whatever

Yes, my comments regarding dog turds and 70's furniture were actually meant to be taken seriously.
let's break for pizza

It's hard to tell the Uncle Snarktch from the Uncle Stitch sometimes.
I'm making pizza again this week for visitors... so maybe I'll try for a more redeeming photo.

Likewise, it can be a fine line between "playful internet japery" and "using the cover of humor to draw attention away from having taken internet disagreements a little too seriously," a line which can be further blurred by questionable iphone photography.
Bottom line: I'd totally eat your pizza, dog turds and all
Scots Taffer on 29/9/2009 at 03:03
Well, the dog turds are 9/10ths of the flavour.

Scots, your pizza does look traditional, and it looks tasty. But people viewing this thread are so into the America pizza style. Pizza may have been invented in Italy, and brought here by Italian immigrants, but it's become an American creation, and exported throughout the world. The sauce, the dough, shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, they become one and you must devour. :D
I'm sorry for you foreigners that think Pizza Hut is the best pizza America has to offer. It's a decent pizza, but not anywhere close to a good one, like from (
http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3719552530) Plaza Pizza. Or (
http://www.loumalnatis.com/) Lou Malnati's.
By the way, I'm eating (

Evidence enough our ample references to his pizza not being American enough!
Fuck that I just want a hot pizza pic, which Scots will undoubtedly make good on once he has access to a camera that isn't the digital equivalent of a tin can with a hole poked in the side. I've sampled Scot's wares directly (easy one there tiger) and I have the utmost faith in his ability to make top shelf pizza!

Pizza Hut is the best of the chains since Godfathers went down the tubes. Compared to Little Caesars, Domino's, and all that other crap, their stuff is practically fine cuisine. But for anyone wanting real honest to god good pizza without spending a ton of cash flying to Italy, you should go out of your way to find the more upscale mom and pop restaurants around town.
I've got two places I swear by. Tony's and Claydoughs. Comparing their tomato sauces made in house with real tomatoes, smeared liberally on some tasty homemade dough, to that bagged sauce they toss on a cracker at the chain places...oh hell, there is no comparison. The taste alone justifies me spending twice as much on a pizza than I would at Pizza Hut.

I'm sure it was tough learning how to spread tomato sauce and cheese on dough.
You don't say. That shit is hard man
