It's getting some great reviews.
I'm much more hopeful now. May need to IMAX this one.

This is probably going to be trash... but.. Malcolm McDowell, John Bradley....

Hahah that looks awesome, thanks for sharing! If you like that, check out (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4176826/) Look Who's Back. While perhaps not über laugh out loud, it got some good chuckles out of me. It's on Netflix too.

Has anyone already seen Blade Runner 2049? The trailers didn't do too much for me, but it is getting extremely good reviews. Also, apparently Daniel Thron, who worked on the Thief games, worked on this one as well.

The trailers completely misrepresent the film in an effort to draw action movie audiences. There is more action here than in the original, but it's there to punctuate certain points in a film that otherwise even slower and more meditative than the original, it almost has a Tarkovsy feel. I loved it.

It's almost like a tease. "Ohhh, here's a big action - oh it's over. No, here's an action - nope, done."

Amazing. The badly remixed Smashing Pumpkins song really sells it, too.

Hah, I was thinking about posting that myself. Looks like a big, dumb spectacle I'll enjoy watching on Netflix in a year or two.

This has been such a shit year.
At least dear old tv has still been there for us.
Anyway, looking forward to BM.S4.

More superheroes than you can shake a stick at! Marvel's done a good job with these large ensamble casts in the past, but this is almost too much. At this point I'm almost mainly watching to see if they can still succeed in forging a coherent narrative out of all of this.
