I have implemented the first power-up, a rocket!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/sq44nuu5zlc4jts/Pogo-Timeestimate.JPG?raw=1Yup, I'm gonna have this whole thing wrapped up in 500 hours. And would you look at that, 17% done after a mere 3 months! Already got the dude bouncing on the pogo and flying on rockets. Hard part's over!
...
Right?
...
Actually there's probably tons of stuff I haven't taken into account. Just realized that I wanna have online leaderboards via Steam and I have
no idea how that stuff works, so that'll take a while. Experienced game devs, please do point out what else I'm missing.

After the enormous success of Stick Fella in certain areas of the world - Chinese localisation?

Oh, PLEASE, make it so that if you fall into the void after the win condition then the "You WIN!" gets smugly replaced with "Never mind" and the "Win" won't count.

Hah, that'd be fun, but to actually snatch the victory away would be too cruel.
It might be a fun idea to just change the message tho. "You win" -> "You won, and then fell into the abyss"

Some of those people are casually standing (and walking) awfully close to a full-on conflagration. Also, what's up with the whitish rectangles floating serenely by?

So, a little while ago I decided to get a 5.25" floppy drive for my retro PC, and I ordered a set of 5.25" floppy disks at the same time. One of those disks I decided to give to a friend for fun, and decided to pretend it contained a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4. A humerous choice, given that game breaks the forth wall about the capacity of a bluray disc.
So I made a disk label:

Since then, I've aquired a better floppy drive. I also decided to have some fun with Open Watcom and make an actual image viewing application (with the correct video mode!) for when I populate the disk.
That has spiraled slightly out of control.

I've uploaded an (

You might as well go ahead with the full MGS4 demake at this point. :D
