I finally got Eevee working. Got some realtime action going on now!

It makes me think that maybe I should just install UE4, and do all my lighting there. Blender 2.8's nice and all, but it acts about like what you'd expect a program to act like that's still 6 months away from being in beta. If you even look at it wrong, the thing will collapse in on itself, and kick you back to the desktop.

Also, I don't know what butterbuzz is, but it sounds kinda scary.

I know I talk about myself way too much here, but I'm easily excitable, and like this awesome new thing I have to play with.
A version of Blender 2.8 has finally been released that's actually somewhat remotely stable. I've been able to play with it to my hearts content without it crashing on me every 5 minutes. Due to such, I've been able to play with some of the more advance features available in EEVEE. I used this chance to relight my two little scenes in glorious, fantastic realtime.
I think that a lot of my style comes from me subconsciously aping Monkey Island.
Next up, I learn to sculpt. I discovered yesterday that I absolutely suck at it.

That looks great and the monkey island thing I see and makes me want to replay it.

It's always worth replaying the Monkey Islands. I actually managed to dig up a SCUMMVM mod of the original MI with the voice and soundtrack from the Special Edition spliced in.
Why I didn't just play the Special Edition in SCUMM mode, I dunno. There was probably some reason for it, though.

Because when you play the Special Edition in the original mode, it also disables the new music and voice acting?

The special edition for moneky island 1 does disable the voice when you switch but for monkey island 2 special edition there is an option to keep the voice when you switch.

Ah yeah. That was the reason. No idea how I let something like that slip my mind.

I've got the Orbiceptor freighter's rear spring and defensive turrets functioning now:

Pyrian, what kind of game is that gonna end up being? Pure action, or what?
