The 2nd shot looks a lot better. Gives things a nice sense of depth.

Agreeing the 2nd one is way nicer

Btw. I didn't find a way to make those seams disappear other than making the wall a one piece. Lightmapper did split it into chunks, but it did it in smart enough way, so turned out pretty good.

That should become a thing. It's awesome looking.

A few weeks back, I mentioned that I'm working on a game for Oculus Quest (exploration, platforming, other traversal). I realized that if I was going to share any of it with the internet, I'd better get the frame rate smoothed out. It wasn't too bad, but it liked to dip into the mid-60s a lot (whereas Quest games should hit 72 pretty much all the time). I spent the last few weeks optimizing various things, including a custom shader that I already thought I had squeezed as much as I could (but I am pretty new to writing shaders).
I finally reached my target a few days ago! The frame rate is solid! There are a lot of other things I want to clean up still before sharing a demo (if anyone is interested in trying it), but here are some screenshots with rough geometry and mostly placeholder textures:

Do Chorus have any plans to put Headliner into Game Pass PC? I noticed that they've published it on the Win 10 Store.

I don't think so, the Xbox game pass didn't go through, I think MS might've been looking for fresher titles to include (understandably) or maybe the payment they offered wasn't worth it.
EDIT: oh while I'm reply might as well share a new ability I'm working on - SNOW!

Looks good, Yakoob! And I imagine having things that actually deform the terrain like snow might lead to some interesting new levels? Like maybe you need to use the snow to create a barrier to keep something out(or something)?
