Doing this is easier than you might think. Here's an example:
First off, you don't need to create a custom object for this. Put in a object in the mission. (object (-1) will be fine.) For the Model name, you want to put in the name of your sprite. They will be in your Bitmap folder.
Once that's in, make sure that in the Position settings located in the Renderer section to have the bank section at 4000 or just set the "B" box in the lower left set to 90. This will have the sprite acting correctly.
Now, you need to setup the Bitmap Worldspace settings. This is where you can scale and tile the sprite. Also, this is where you set the flags for it. (ex: Face Camera (Axial), No UV Tilting, etc.)
If you have animation frames for your sprite, you'll want to setup FrameAnimationConfig, located in the SFX section.

Thx GORT for this little Tutorial, that is what I call help. :thumb:

FYI, most of this stuff was in OldDark aside from axial-locking and maybe the animation props. It's how conveyors work, how NV did the ground fog in Hazelshade Cemetery, and how I did the moving water in What Lies Below.

The more I mess around with this, the more I want to make a "Duke Nukem 3D" level in DromEd. :joke:

I have played Duke Nukem for 15 Years, also Blade runner was a good choice. I like the idea, GORT.

The general plot is still not decided. From one side -- it was planned as a small campaign with empty city. From another -- it was planned as a campaign with several nights (missions) in the same location.
