Nice shots, but either you jacked the gamma up way high, or you're still running at the T1 default ambient light levels which are 63,63,63 as I recall.

I have my gamma set differently. My monitors aren't the best. So I mess around.
I'm sure by the time I get Beta Testers this will all be readjusted.

Your gamma setting in the game has no effect on the screenshots, you would have had to boost the gamma in an image editor before posting them. If you didn't, then it's just the ambient light setting. Carry on!

It looks to me as if the lighting has not been toggled. I was doing that for a time until I tried using sunlight and using "toggle lighting". On my system, it didn't take much time to render, but then again it's an energy hog. I think any true Thief fan wouldn't care about something like that.

Yes I agree it looks like light is full on in the Dromed shot, but the earlier screenies that SilverJackal posted were not as you can see brighter textures around light sources.

I finished one of the Areas for the New Version for Heart of the Gems, this is Area 1 from 6. I try to change this Keyhunt, about half of the keys was removed.
Its a little bit strange to work on a released FM, but i know there a people who never played this FM, becaus the limit was to high for some old PCs, so i give my best to release this FM. :)
I also working on my Thief 1 Contest FM, my Time Counter is about 2000 now, i think this FM will be going over 14.000 and will be larger than Heart of the Gems. You will see lots of interesting Stuff, Lost City, Hammerites, Contstatine, Ramirez, Bafford, Undeads and large City Parts also a Weapon Shop is in this FM. :)

When overlooking a few things I know one more major "area" needs to be inserted. Yet there is another I originally had planned will be "out of the way". Should it be added even if it feels more like a "sidequest"?

I finally got a Burrick into my mission (working title: Faux Karras). He hasn't learned to burp yet! Until recently, I couldn't find the Burrick riding tutorial. Some days are long, so when I'm tired I just experiment. Here's a Burrick with a CreatureAttachment at the butt joint to a very small old chair. DetailAttachment from the chair to the bowman with a Z offset to keep him on the Burrick's back. The bowman's leg's intrude the Burrick's back (which is very hairy). I disabled head track on the bowman, which worked for a little while before vanishing. After trying this I found Sledge's old post on how he did it in The Inverted Manse. Until I get my "Rube Goldberg" machines setup, it'll do. I plan to limit the player's weaponry and have him go undercover. I might end up using this if it fits the mission. Apologies for not toggling lighting this time.
