The only way is to edit the motion files, which will be made more complicated if the mission also has archers on foot.
Can you not just create a new CreatureType (as specified using Schema > Class Tags property), eg. Rider or RiderWithBow (cause you might want to have RiderWithSword as well) ?

IIRC Schema > Class Tag only refers to sound not motion ... Creature> Creature Type is for motions. Or am I thinking of Speech > Voice being for sound ... In any event, if you are creating a new "thing" which you want to move, make noise, and sing Figaro, you need to consider all three.

Hey guys, still forging away at the mission. However I ran inter a strange design bug. Nothing is colliding with the room. Nor should it have this random slab. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

That does look odd. If you set the cylinder To End, does the slab remain? Can you retexture the slab? (This would be be a useful question to answer, diagnostically, and would also help me make better sense of the 3-d view).
If you click on the slab in the 3-d view, does it select?

I couldn't find ways to work around it. I even created a whole new room and everything it still remained. I can't select the slab either.

Go back to a save that doesn't have it.
Or ...
Delete stuff in reverse time order, Portalize, see if it is gone, and repeat until it is gone.
