Being as though I'm probably the only person here to enjoy DS more than the other two, I really can't reply to this topic too well:)

Well then, Kovitlac, (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119568) this thread is the perfect place for you to tell us all about what TDS means to you that the others don't, perhaps in greater detail than you already have, there. ;) :p

I have tried to stay away from this thread, because everything has already been said, but...:
* I never felt in control of Garrett's movements. I even fell down from more than one roof top because of Garrett's infernal sidestepping when taking a walk.
* The blueness of it all made the graphics look a bit too clean.
* Garrett had forgotten how to swim. Maybe he's getting old?
* I looked up again and again, looking at those nice wooden beams high above and reached for a rope arrow only to realize that I had none. All rope arrows had disappeared somewhere (maybe some "colleague" had bought the rope arrow factory and closed it).
* Ragdoll.
* Loading zones.
* Sprawling city caused loss of focus.
* The Enforcers could have been great.

This is not really a dislike, I guess, but just a wish. I don't know if this is the thread to put these, but I don't know where else to put them. Perhaps a new thread for wishes? Anyway, this is a very small thing, but a hammer very often says "She has fallen" when he sees a dead body. I often wish that he would also say, "And she can't get up". And it could have been funny. Or have an elderly pagan say it when she goes down... "I have fallen, and I can't get up". LOL!
I wonder if it could be put into an FM. Probably not easily.
I also have another wish. Just once, I would have liked to have seen the following: a guard is walking down the street with a woman. They are conversing. Garret is in a shadow. As they pass, he sees the purse on her hip. He tries to grab it, but he can't. It is not even frobbable. But all of a sudden, the woman mistakes the attempt for a hug, and turns and slaps the guard, and says, "Keep your hands to yourself". LOL!

Agreed! I'm a general fan of TDS, but I was so disappointed with the Enforcers - their lack of stealth, eagerness to kill citizens and passer-bys, inability to hide (Equilibrium-style) - their general philsophy in doing harm.

If I feel the last straw during the next months, I'll make you an Equilibrium in TDS. And it will be evil. :sly: The funny thing is, with a little setting-out you can make the Enforcers avoid any bright areas.

I doubt this. No chance.

Some empty hallways with invisible Keepers who want to kill you while you have to find some way out? That's supposed to be impossible?
Ah, I see, there will always be someone complaining "No, not like the real one because...I say so". :rolleyes:

If you can do it, go for it!
just another kid showing off :ebil:

I was just playing, so I have a few more:
Secrets are almost non-existent.
The Pumphouse sign reads, "Pumphouse, for controlling the level of the water" (or something similar)!
What's with those goofy wands some of those people carry around?
