As far as Story and and setting goes The Maw wins.
As far as gameplay and challenege goes Soulforge wins.
I always considered the final part of TDS where you have to sneak to various city locations as more of an epilogue than a final mission. I consider the Museum to be the true final mission of TDS and in that sense it finished on a high. A nice traditional Thief mission that has a large building to explore, guards to sneak past and valuebles to steal. But even then, The Museum would still put TDS in 3rd place with regards to which game has the best final mission.
