Okay, so I managed to find this link that shows all the glyphs in the game: (

Do all of these glyphs have meanings, and if so, what do they mean? The site that posted that is a discussion forum in Russian, so it's not like I could ask them!

Sure you can. It's a good bet the Russian taffers understand English.
But no, not all of the glyphs depicted there have meanings. Very few of them have, in fact.

Didnt Magpie *just* answer that? Perhaps you are waiting for an answer you like better? Fine, here is one. Yes, of course the designers had specific things in mind. Fortunately, they were never directly revealed. They did look real cool though. You see, Thief took a 'cue' from past games and wisely left some things vague and underexplained. If they had not, why, you fine people wouldn't still be talking about it all these years later. Good for you Looking Glass, good for you. You were a smart company, and knew a thing or two about game development.

I used to have a bookmarked page that listed all the glyphs and gave the meaning of each one, which would be perfect for you. I can't remember the glyphs they go to (nor could I describe the symbols accurately) but I know that there's a glyph key, a door, Gamall's weapon, a warning, a trap, the last glyph, and some others I can't remember.

I would assume so, as I have yet to see anyone even remotely disagree... Work itself seems to be more than underway in fact... Looks like someone just has to come in and tie it all up. Let it be you! I can't be bothered, you see, I am currently entrenched in a quest to find, um the crystal that fits the archmages emerald staff!
