In one episode of It Takes A Thief, Alexander Mundi accidentally set of an alarm. He hid in a clock. His handler checked that particular part under his cover so said nothing. Alexander left a mouse in the room so they thought the mouse tripped the alarm.
If anyone found a stray cat or mouse in a house, their first suspicion wouldn't be a burglar with a trained animal. Even the guards always say: "just rats again...."

If Garrett had a pet, then it should be a FM-story based on a thief-like "John Wick" ;) Garrett already has focus, and doesn't stop until all is finished. loL!

And Garrett should have to use a new kind of orb to get the pet out!

and ofcourse a water type pet? for those underwater parts that are hard to get to due to lack of air
Now I'm imagining a fish giving Garrett CPR to replenish his breathe meter lol
There was a fan-fic years and years ago that wrote about Garrett's adventures from the perspective of a stray cat following him. It wasn't exactly well written but it was a novel concept. Anyone remember the name? I couldn't find it.
