I have been alternately:
A retail store display designer
A musician
The owner of a service business
A contractor in the marble refurbishing business
A worship leader
A pastor
A family counselor
A theology teacher (mostly guest teaching)
And most currently, a stay at home/homeschooling dad

My last gig was a law teacher to Burmese law students on the Thai border, with classes on human rights law and environmental law. Now I've gotten a fellowship to do research in international law in Tokyo, so going to start that come July.

Still working at the British Council for my sins, although I have the sneaking suspicion that since our project is ending/has ended, my employment there is also likely to end before long, especially since two team members (out of a team of four people) are about to jump ship. In the meantime I'm also trying to get back into university teaching, having taught a couple of courses at English Departments over the last few years. I'd definitely like to teach at uni full-time again, but the job market isn't all that great.

Best thing in that thread was CCCToad. If someone has a job of a highly sensitive nature, do they:
a) Forego talking about it at all on the internet.
b) Be circumspect, e.g. "I'm in the military".
c) Spin a pair of aviator shades on the tip of their index finger, exhale cigarette smoke in your face and growl "that's CLASSIFIED civilian".

Mobile DJ, but not for long anymore i'm afraid.
DJing doesn't really pay off too well so i'm heading back to school at autumn again, to become paramedic in future =D
