If you had some kind of a high-tech accident that teleported you into a game, kinda like what happened to Flynn at the start of Tron, what game would you want to(or rather: least hate to) be stuck in for the rest of your days?
Rules:
1. We're talking the vanilla game here. No fan missions or user generated content involved, though I will allow content from official patches and DLC to exist in this world.
2. Your persona in this world will be basically the same as the protagonist of the game. You'll have the same abilities and opportunities, though you won't be bound to walking the same path they did (unless you want to).
I'm opening the floor for answers. Go!

If I say Hotline Miami does that mean I'm, err, like cuuuurazzzy?

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Sure, it's a cyberpunk shithole on the verge of tearing itself apart thanks to a lot of hurt feelings about cybernetics, but DXHR captured pretty much what the inside of my brain looks like anyway. You don't even need to give me powers or nothin', just give me a nice apartment and a decent job.

with sex mods? :p
For me,
Ultima VII... even if I probably had to tolerate Goldmoon Dawn as my neighbour. :erg: (just kidding, goldie!)
It's one of the few games where I've cared about any of the characters, and it's the most immersive game world of them all.
Don't know if I'd want to be the Avatar though, with everyone giving me all those silly little quests and me having to save the world once again, but I suppose I could work as a baker or something.

Either Thief 1 or STALKER.

The city in Mirror's Edge actually looks like a pretty nice place to live TBH.
Edit: Sorry, I read too fast. Being the protagonist in that city wouldn't be so pleasant. So I'd say Anachronox. High tech advanced world, and while Boots starts off rather down and out, things open up for him in their own way.

Thief 1 or Skyrim
