And as for the thread, I'm using a 7800GT with an Athlon X2 3800 and 2GB of RAM and I'm seeing a frame rate averaging 45 at 1280x1024 with bloom and 2x forced-antialising.
Anti-aliasing doesn't work in conjunction with bloom, not even if forced in the NV control panel.

I'm finding it deliciously amusing that you made a double post by quoting a post that asked people not to post multiple times in a row.

Bikerdude: Are you using any of the smoother movement tweaks? It's possible that the game is running perfectly fine, but the default movement settings make it feel like it's running worse than it is.

9800Pro, Athlon 2800+, gigabyte of ram.
With settings on full, AA at 2, running in 1024x768 I average about 30fps, but it sure feels like less - it takes a dive every time some complex shadows appear (like in the training mission, for example, when you have to sneak by the grate without making sound)
I think that Thief's movement also contributes to it's jerky feeling. Minimalist project helps with this.

256 MB GeForce 6800
2 GB RAM
6 GB Pagefile
3.2 GHz Intel Pentium(R) 4
everything set on full, running at 1280x1024 (my flat panel won't go higher or I'd play everything at 1600x1200
runs beautifully even with bloom on.... off the top of my head, I can't remember if I have AA on x2 or off... ::shrug::

I have a Palit Radeon x800.
Thief 3 runs fine on my computer with graphics set to the best. And I also have all of John P's hi-res textures installed.
But some of the fm's have been a bit laggy, though.

I strongly doubt that on both accounts...
As for the gfx card. I have a Radeon 9800XT and TDS went smoothly except this one cave mission when a lot of lights were seen at the same time. Everything else worked quite smooth.
