What happens if.... - by Vincent_21

...we get to please the lovable blind lady with her so desired wine?...
I have to say... i wander for al least one hour trying to figure out a way to make her wish reality. I searched the room where she relied, was unable to find a clue about its location. Then i thought about the kitchen. Went there.... there were in fact a couple of bottles lying around. Picked up one, but, for unknown reason, it wouldnt belong to the inventory. So, i had no other chance than reaching the top of the tower with the wine well held in my hands. Once there i had no ther chance than to throw the damned bottle at her.....
..nothing happened however....
The thing is that I have a really nice theory about that complex, intrincate character. She's definetly worth of a deeper development. Its not anything luscious.... its quite idyllic in fact. I think its the remains of my Victor Hugo's readings.... and those divagations educed those memories....
....so... what really happens?.....

Is your game for the PC or Xbox? I hear that the PC version has a few glitches at that part that can delay the Widow from thanking you for the wine, or it just doesn't happen at all.
Anywho, my game is for the Xbox, and all I did was run down to where the Chef was, grab a bottle off his table, run it back up to the top, and lay the bottle in the Widow's lap. Worked just fine.

I dropped the wine on the table, worked fine.
There is a hidden reward later on...
she'll sneak in a reward and note to Garrett's apartment if you both bring her wine and NOT steal her support money left by her husband
Wierd, that never happened with me I don't think. I never
stole her support money, just couldn't bring myself to do it. What did the note say?
I have PC version, no problem for me.
(The note
thanks you for your consideration to not take the support money, and for your kindness to bring the wine. She says something like take care and good luck. Plus she gives you some golden wine bottle I think, or something like that
From a thief's point of view, does the reward make up for the money you could have stolen?
From a nice guy's point of view, was it just a nice thing to do, and the reward unimportant in the scheme of things?

I really liked receiving her letter and little reward. The reward is puny compared to the support funds, and is not the point. It's simply a fitting rewards, a special fine wine, since you were kind enough to give her a drink of wine.
