I've been working at a fast pace today, and starting to run into portal issues. I suspect lost duplicated brushes, because I was multi-brushing like madman.
I teleported camera to degenerate, and it turns out it was unrelated issue. Now thankfully there is no issue, but still, how would I ever know there was say, two air brushes in the same place?

I'm always wondering this as well, and the thought of having 2 brushes on the exact same place makes me just feel bad for some reason haha. Hope someone can give a good answer to this :)

The problem being posed is actually a subset of a bigger and, perhaps, more important question: How to identify "do nothing" brushes, that is, brushes whose presence or absence do not contribute to the world rep, being wholly contained within other brushes which do so contribute or otherwise are nullified by other brushes. These, I fear, may be more common than perfectly duplicating brushes.

Duplicated brushes have the same coordinates, so you need to find out the coordinates of the terrain brushes and compare it somehow.
Maybe there are duplicated room brushes after multibrushing, too. That would be easy to find out. Room brush inside room brush will be displayed in monolog.
But as far as I can see, duplicated terrain brushes don't hurt much, but duplicated room brushes are very, very bad.

I think being so early, I think I'm okay. I moved and then snapped back most suspected dups and nothing was there. I will just be super careful. I am aware of the various highlights, such as bad rooms, unsnapped etc. But was hoping there was one for dups. Thanks for the input.

Wasn't there a command that showed duplicated brushes?
