BTW, fascinating sex-related news I read today. Some doctors want to relabel the term homophobia because it doesn't meet the clinical definition of a phobia. Homophobes don't tend to avoid homosexuals and the clinically measured response is not one of anxiety but arousal, ostensibly that they want to put down.
This basically matches my experience since the two most vocal homophobes I knew ended up being closeted gays. So transparently Freudian it's almost laughable.

So, we're saying that people afraid of homosexuals are afraid that they'll like what they find? Sounds like ye olde forbidden fruit's been given brand new packaging for our modern era. The factors surrounding repressed homosexuality and its almost inextricable links to societal pressure and religion would make for quite the psychological study.
Wait, how the hell did this thread turn serious all of a sudden

Gunsmoke has just posted some very private information. Whether that was smart or not, posting his profile picture into this thread is absolutely idiotic. This isn't facebook. Think before you post.
Agreed. I wouldn't even discuss something that personal on an open message board. That said, its dumber to have the picture on your profile than for someone else to post it.

You mean there are people who actually believed that libtard bullshit newspeak? Of course homophobes are not afraid of gays, that was blatantly obvious when they started
kicking them in the face.

Are you going to make a habit of dredging up relatively old posts that everyone else has moved on from just to post inane crap nobody cares about ever and play pass-aggress ninny bananapants?
Because seriously, don't. You're not impressing anybody.

It won't get better if you keep picking at it.

No. While one should be wary that any private data that you post
can be misused, this in no way legitimises the misuse.
If showing any weak spot would automatically make it fair game for others to take a shot at it, we would end up in a forum full of insincere little shits doing nothing but throw snarky catchprases at each other.
In short, a basic lack of trust and respect destroys interesting conversation.
