I've been doing this for a while now but thought it's time to share with stay at home boredom on the rise. What i do is too watch 'train, trolley, or bus driver view' videos (with the sound on mute) and listen to music or news while taking a tour of different place around the world. I started doing this in the winters while exercising riding my stationary bicycle. On the long touring videos i just "copy video at current time" and then save it for the next day.
This is the most beautiful city i have seen since i started. Rotterdam (In August of 2019) (

Here is Japan overhead train. (

Matterhorn in Switzerland. (

Here is New York in 1911. HQ video. (

These are some of the really cool ones I've seen over the years.

That's a great idea.

I wrote on these forums: "I'm not gonna watch any movie with Nicolas Cage in it". Well, not any movie younger than 20 years. And then I did watch "Color Out of Space". It was terrible.
Disjointed characters was not because of alien radiation. It was because of bad script-writing. And no, it was not an interesting movie. I did finish watching the whole movie, but only because the story was by Lovecraft. COOS was very much what I expected it to be. A boring, cheap mess.

I guess this is kind of macabre (although not really since no one was killed or even injured, aside from the thing itself of course), but there's an analysis of the collapse of the Arecibo Telescope that's kind of fascinating to watch, like the collapse of massive famous things always are, I suppose.

Color Out of Space was fantastic. Some people just don't like fun.

I'm in between, I had fun watching it but wouldn't go as far as calling it fantastic, but neither would I call it terrible by any means. I gave it a solid 8/10 stars on IMDb.

That's a pretty high rating! That's probably about where I'd put it too if I was trying to be objective, but for me, it captured a sort of magic that I haven't felt from a movie in as long as I can remember. Maybe since I was a kid. Add some great Cage freakouts and creature designs to the mix and I had a real blast. I definitely recommend doing a double feature watching Mandy right after - they complement each other well. A nice descent into madness.

In a way I agree with all of you. Color out of space was not an intellectual movie and was not well written. One would hope for better out of a Lovecraft adaptation. Still, the special effects were worth watching and the acting wasn't bad and I was interested until the end. It wasn't a movie that made me feel I had learned anything or explored a subject I had never given thought to or anything but I would give it a solid five.
Did anyone at all watch The Endless? Now that was a movie that made me go woah. How about They Look Like People? That was tense and thoughtful and I haven't gotten over either yet. What about The Invitation? That was slow burn as hell but worth the wait for the payout which is more scary these days knowing so many can be fooled.

Started, finally, watching Anchorman.
I like Will Ferrel in lots of stuff, and the cast is great. I just couldn't get on with it though. Steve Carell's character just... well I don't get what's supposed to be funny. He says he was low IQ and I just couldn't shake the feeling you're supposed to be laughing at a guy with a learning disability. I though about other, similar characters and the only one I think of is Kenneth from 30 Rock. Nice but dim, but in his case it's because he's from the sticks and is unexposed. That I could deal with, this not so much. I stopped watching it.

Pretty awesome ending to Season Two of The Mandalorian. I shouldn't say any more, just watch it.
