ok ..I just beat it for the game again...and chose the Illuminati end....not because I trust Everett, but because Dowd will ule with you and I trust Dowd more than I trust Everett..mainly because he doesnt have frozen man in his basement...true he does live in a cemetary..but I saved his life by getting him ambrosia....he owes me, he wont turn on me. But I admit....I REALLY wish there was a way to change at teh last moment and join Page..I liked some of his pleas (you want power? Ill give you versalife! You can have the whole damn company!) But overall, I guess I still like the Helios end if I cant join Page. I think it could work out well with JC's mind joining with Helios, ruling in true benevolence...Helios' earlier actions(opening roads in Hong Kong, etc) gave good indications of it's intent. Although i didnt like the idea that Helios declared teh Triads, my allies, illegal.
DIFFERENT NOTE: if you could make the choice
of good/evil by killing Lebedev or not and joining with Page there...and since it seems as tho9ugh Page is using Simons as just a tool, I could see one mission in the Page game as an assisination of Simons on Page's behalf. I dont think he would turn on you, as he sees you as a (for the most part) success and I dont thinkhe would destroy you if you were on his side...perhaps he never had any intentions of killing Simons either...they made a good team IMO

Hmmm.... perhaps that's how they will handle the sequel... take it from a different direction a la the HalfLife sequel.
Imagine the drama of playing one of the MJ12 troopers!

Did you know that when you're escaping from UNATCO HQ before you go to Hong Kong you can kill Joseph Manderley without talking to him first?
My brother told me that he sniped Mr. Manderley from the door to his office, THEN approached the desk. Walton Simons a comment along the lines of, "Thanks for saving us the trouble." You get the idea.
