Dissolution serum is an excuse to keep you in the Cradle longer.

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is quite good at dissolving organic substances, perhaps a mixture of sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), such as you get in drain cleaner, would make a good dissolution serum.

Also sulphuric acid (H2SO4) is good in dissolver for organic compounds, so it may be in dissolution serum consistence too.

Yeah, but I doubt that they kept enough sulfuric acid to use as a regular cleanser. It could have been just soapy water and the dev team cut out the scrubbing animation. :)

Everybody, grab your dictionaries and look up the term "serum".

Bedeutungen:
[1] Kurzform für Blutserum; Bestandteil des Blutes
[2] veraltet: Kurzform für Heilserum; eine Flüssigkeit, die zur Heilung von Krankheiten, Biss- und Stichwunden eingesetzt wurde
Herkunft:
aus dem lateinischen Wort serum → la; Molke
Meaning:
1) short version of blood serum, a part of the blood
2) old-fashioned short version for healing (?) serum, a liquid used for healing wounds from bites or pricks
from Latin where it means whey
By the way, there IS a scrubbing animation in TDS, but I think it would have killed the atmosphere. :p

Make a "Brother Murus-B-Gone" serum and I'll buy it.
TMA players oughta appreciate that....
