Has anyone else wondered what the big gold thing was? A device to help him with a possible medical ailment, or just a silly priest hat?

It's the same as a Masked Servant's helmet without the mask. Essentially, it's his own face where the mask would be, but in both cases the whole head is covered.

Oh, yeh. I remember that now.
Bloke was always a bit odd. Passion for silly headgear, that's the first sign of madness.

Not to mention, he's described later on as having developed a metallic skin tone.:weird:

lol which is totally not wierd, since the guy obviously spent a bulk of his time in Soulforge....
Sometimes it's good to.... get outside once in a while.

Oh, you're thinking it's a topical cosmetic thing? Not an ingestion/absorption thing?:p

lol, that's terrible man. :p
I wasn't sure where you were going with it, nice recovery though.

Who knows how much a person in his position is exposed to lead and mercury and other toxic metals, let alone chemicals from his experiments with the dead and the mutox. No matter the cause, he's out of his frikkin' mind, genius or no.:D

Surprised he doesn't come down with the asthma due to all that junk that must be in the air.
"Greetings, honored gues *haaaack!! cough cough cough! wheeeze!" Honored guests!"
Would be especially funny if the coughing was included in the replayed section of the viktrola. Imagine having to listen to that over and over...
