Sorry, I was away for the day (& I have trouble keeping track of who responds to my posts,
because I don't know where to get notice of replies)
Brooklyn - Top 300 lol? - Spoken like a true veteran! I will also try 7 shades of mercury first
Melan - I suppose my criteria is rather narrow, I guess my second favourite setting is
mansions. I will try the Saint of Redmound asap, thanks!
Yandros - The Drymian Codex sounded so awesome from the reviews & I wanted to play it really badly a few months ago, but for some reason Thief crashes everytime I tried to start the mission (after the briefing/objectives screen). Btw, I don't dislike a spook element to missions, I just don't like the ones that feature strictly undead NPCs. I freakin hate zombies!! The black frog & the Seven Sisters are also on my to do list. Thanks for reminding me to complete Broken Triad & your suggestions!
Skacky - Shadow Politics was definitely one of the better TG FMs I've played, it integrated alot of clever elements & loot placement (I totally didn't expect that coinstack on the windowsill) Btw, Squadalol made a kickass max loot ghost run on the tube eh!? Yeah, he's a good one. The only thing I would've preferred would've been to access the hammerite church!!
Hopper - I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting so many responses this fast, but it sounds like I must absolutely try "Hammered"
Tannar - I will definitely give it a whirl, thanks!
SneakyGuy10 - I've been meaning to try Geller's Pride, thanks for the reassurance! And I don't mind a spook element to a mission, heck, it's what made Emilie Victor so great, but I don't like pure undead missions. But if you like it so much, I will also get around to trying that mini campaign, since it sounds original.
Thanks alot guys! I'll try to be on the ball next time with my replies. I actually can't believe some of you MADE these missions that I admired and enjoyed so much! On another note - I want to make one of my own, but I haven't been able to DL Dromed successfully, or even understand where to start.
Can someone let me know what basic tools I need and how to get started?
++If this post is still around I will let you know which was the best :D (as well as review them on their appropriate threads, of course ;)

I recommend the Bathory campaign by Sensut.
It is an excellent mission. It's full of mystery and intrigue. The campaign, as a warning, does contain some undead and crypts, but most of the missions are castle-like structures.
I also second a bunch of recommendations in this thread. I especially loved the black frog campaign.

Thanks for the suggestions! I played "Returning a favour" and "The Saint of Redmound" (which I'm just finishing up - tough mission to ghost btw) yesterday, both of which were great and very much to my liking:thumb:
I'll jot down the Bathory campaign on my to-do list, but it sounds like, since it has been mentionned 3 times, and I like Gaetane's flavour, I must play the black frog next!:D

Amoral Dilemma has a Hammerite church in it but that's only part of the mission. Also no undead.

Thanks for the kind words, you could try my other city mission, Between These Dark Walls if you liked Shadow Politics.
The Hand of Glory and The Secret Way are both Thief Gold missions and feature Hammerite locales as well.

Bosh - Thanks for the links. I WILL absolutely get to work on that asap, after all the quality missions and hours of fun the dedicated editors here have provided me, at least ONE decent FM is the least I owe you guys! :p
Krush - Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind!
Skacky - If you suggest them, they must be decent. I was going to play the black frog campaign next, but I really do have a preference for that classic TG feel...so I'm gunna go ahead and review BTDW, The Hand of Glory and The Secret Way first.
I figured I'd check the forums quick before I study anatomy, and now I see all these super enticing suggestions. DAMN YOU ALL!!! Well...it's my bday, and I'll only turn 24 once...to hell with the books:ebil:, it looks like I'll be up all night taffin...sleep in and make it to 420 on Parliament Hill first thing tomorrow:joke:!!

Searching randomly, the first ever FM I played was Borrington's Castle (very short, quirky and rather pointless).
Yes... yes it was. I'll be the first to say it!

My top 3 are :
Conspiracies in the Dark
Rowena's Curse
Thork
and if you have never played Rose Cottage because of the spooks, you really are doing yourself a disservice.
