No its not. One is just stupid, the other is evil.

Well I personally blame Microsoft and their XBOX for what has happened to PC games over the past decade. Think about it, if the XBox never existed, Thief 3 and DX 2 wouldn't have been mediocre. Hey publishers, let's stop with the "one size fits all" game development. I won't buy any more of these titles. A PC game should be very different from a console game. It should have completely customizable controls through a GUI, a level editor, file formats that allow gamers to easily create mods, dedicated servers, lots of graphics settings, etc.
This is one reason I didn't buy Windows with my newest PC. What have *they* done for me in the past decade, besides cause my favorite games to be ruined with their push for cross-platform (Windows/XBox) development.

If you're not going to buy any more of these titles then why post?

... to try and convince publishers to go back to making games the way they did in the 1990s.
If I go to a restaurant and the food sucks, I can either just pay the bill and leave, or I can let them know the food sucks and give them a suggestion as to how to improve things.
I'm actually interested in Duke Nukem Forever. Somewhere, buried deep within the game lies the Unreal 2 engine. This was a cross-platform, tweak-able engine with good potential for fan-made projects. Perhaps it will satisfy me.

You seriously think that A) any post you make here matters worth a damn to publishers who don't even read this forum and B) anyone cares?
Wow. I knew you were egotistical and delusional but this takes the cake.

Unreal engine 3, but it's all for nothing unless they release an sdk, much like with any other game.

People bitch and moan about games they'll never buy all the time on these forums. Not sure how he's any different.

I, too, will not buy any more Windows until Bill Gates flies down to meet me personally and gives me a Mercedes.

He wanted Bill Gates to fly down and meet him and give him the Mercedes, not fly into the Mercedes.
