Hmm, re-read the first post. So to answer the 2nd question. I like Techno-industrial. To again answer the poll question, I don't want it in Thief 4.
Honestly I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned the fact that the Thief games rely very heavily on hearing the environment. Little whispers of noise are sometimes the only warning you get that an enemy is approaching. Some of us can sometimes determine patrol routes for AI just from listening to their footsteps. I'm not at all keen on having a guard unexpectedly round a corner into my face because someone wanted to hear Jay-Z or J-Pop echoing through the halls I'm sneaking through.
However, I'd actually be rather interested in a thread asking what kind of music Thief fans like, minus the ridiculous notion of putting any of it into Thief 4.

Yah, well limit it down to what Thief-fans like, and the fan-made movies. But come on, for the movie clips, you've got to admit, a bit of music SOUNDTRACK without the LYRICS would sound good ? A bit ?
I liked the Heavy metal during the intro of TDP and TMA...:cool:
But yeah, during intros, custences and fan-made movies. I think so.
