Even if Eric B. won't be available, they should hire equally good dark/industrial ambient artist to achieve the same level of audial extasy.

I must hold my hands up and admit to being one of the jokers who voted for rap!!
Eerie, dark ambient is for me.
My favorite music in game, is in the first section of "The House of the Widow Moira".

By this title it is obvious that you mean what music could be in thief game and not what music fans like to hear in their everyday lifes. I suggest to fix the title to something like. "What music do you like".
I strongly suggest you to check again the "T2 the making" video to get the idea of what thief is in terms of sound experience and a proper answer for all the options in the poll.:weird::eww:

It was IMHO neither "What kind of awesome [game/background] music could there be on Thief 4 ?" nor "What music do you like" but "What kind of music could be featured in Thief IV as extra content or..." Well how do you call these songs for movie credits etc.?

For Thief 4, I would hope it would be traditional techno and Celtic metal (is that the right genre?).
As for myself, I like Rock, and varying degrees of the others. I like some songs in the other genres a lot, but not the genre in general.
Does that answer the question better?
