I already posted this thread on the Dark Mod forums, but figured I might as well do it here as well. This is not a promise, nor any kind of pressure on other mission authors to make a specific kind of mission. I am simply interested in what kind of missions would you, the player would like to see made and released for TDM or any of the Thief games. :)
I will start with a few possibilities I would enjoy.
* Giant Bonehoard-style tomb-robbing mission. Something with a large area to explore, various tombs to break into, a few puzzles and traps to spice things up, and maybe some common thread to link them. I have wanted to make one for a long-long time, but always got sidetracked by this or that.
* Weird Pagan mission: either Constantine's mansion-style craziness, or something that brings out the creepy and unsettling side of Pagans. Maybe even something otherworldly like Strange Bedfellows or The Maw of Chaos.
* Mines and other underground locations. Rusty machinery, forgotten and haunted sections, flooded areas and so on.
There are a lot more kind of fan missions I enjoy, of course, but these are the ones I would love to see more of.

Mansion missions!
Just kidding. :p
Warehouses and Ruins are pretty enjoyable FMs. Warehouses offer lots of variety in who you rob from and what you steal in a single mission. Lots of potential for good sneaking fun and atmosphere. Ruins offer a glimpse of an area lost to time with plenty of room for different backstories, atmosphere, and gameplay
(undead, pagans, thieves, puzzles)

Undead/Apparition/Tombs/Catacombs/Horror missions.
New Dark, "HD" sequel to "A Brawl in the Tombs" by John D.

I see what you did there.
City missions are my favorite, but personally I would like to see more outdoor/nature missions. More forest missions would be awesome. Cliffside canyon ruins with bridges running between seems like a cool idea.

That does sound cool. Also, not saying this just to pimp your upcoming mission, but we need more swamp missions - there are only a handful out there. I'm hoping with the advent of NewDark and with the growing list of related assets that we can start having more ambitious outdoor/natural type missions for T2. It's definitely more possible now to create immersive, realistic missions set outside than it used to be - Soul Tear is ahead of the curve in this regard.
I love about any mission where I feel isolated and alone, in a bleak or desolate place, whether it's some ancient place that hasn't seen a human for centuries or just a remote natural setting. Bonus points when there's something unknown and foreign that puts me on edge, and builds tension, but not with jump scares. I guess that's one reason why I love dark ambient music, it's the auditory version of that experience.

Pagans....I just love pagans, especially the T3 pagans, and whenever I come across them I go all silly :). Sadly there just are not enough FMs with these guys it them....but what ever you do please do not put them in mines as most authors make mines so dark I can never find anything.
Treasure islands, Caribbean style with Captain Hook (along with pirates) as your nemesis.
The moon, or some other planet, and instead of finding loot, or at least along side it, you would need to find items to fix your spaceship (which could also involve complicated puzzles to get them to work) to get back to planet Shalesbridge....this would also give the author an opportunity to introduce Martians or some other alien into Thief.
Donald Trump's brain....a bizarre a novelty FM in which you would have to work out what the F**k is going on before destroying this strange entity.
Solution.....steal his brain cell

-Lost City, ruined civilization missions are awesome. I wish there were more of them, but I imagine they're not easy things to build.
-City rooftop missions - never gets old.
-Escape style missions - love these because it kind of turns the tables on Garrett a bit, he's not as in control as when he is infiltrating, so it leads to a more tense atmosphere.
