The Keepers have been in power for ages, even without their precious Glyphs I'm sure they all band together and try to continue being the guardians of the Balance, they just have to be smarter without their powers.

Similar/on a par with the cradle mission if possible depending on storyline.
More Rooftop missions like Life of the Party using Thieves Highway.
The choice whether to use Thieves Highway and city streets in most missions.
And most important...
..lots of banter from City Watch or the like. :laff:

I do want a few scary missions. I love the tension!
I'd also like to see a mission where Garrett does some sort of detective work, where he uncovers a big plot twist. I don't think that happened enough in T1-3.

Keepers also wouldn't have a dang clue how to go about it, but they'd have a difficult time blending in to make a living, since they only blended in to gather info and compare it to the prophecies before making a decision.

I'd like to see...
Breaking into a building of authority - a courthouse, police station, a town hall, etc
At least one mission with a creepy undead atmosphere - more like the cradle, RtHC, or similar - preferably an abandoned structure, not like robbing the horn tombs
A hospital mission - I loved the Cure from T2x and also the haunted hospital FM
A shadowing mission - perhaps not set in a town centre as done previously, but maybe through some woods, inside a huge building, maybe a village
A couple of mansion missions at least with a big fat loot bag and some amazing sparkly treasures at the end
A market district town thieving experience
A ghosting mission (sorry folks, but if done well it'll be very enjoyable!)
What I don't want:
A tiny town districts all split up
A prison breakout
A caves-maze mission
And edit: Don't want to see a story knitted together based on random missions, but missions designed by story

I'd like to see something in the poorer districts, either near Wayside or up in the north.
jtr7 on 10/5/2009 at 19:19
I'd love that, Beleg. Although Garrett would like to hit up the nobility and their tombs for the big-time stuff, being forced to retreat into the poorer districts (although Wayside DOCKS is actually rich businessmen as well as scoundrels), or going there to get in on or investigate something happening, or rumoured among the criminal underground. And as I said elsewhere, I'd like to visit Garrett's safehouses.

A brothel. Let's see Garrett spending his free time.

Oh, this will be a bad idea. What about all these kids playing Thief?

I don't know how it is elsewhere, but movies and games with sex-scenes in Hungary get the 12+ rating, which, I seem to recall, was the rating of all Thief games. Might be I'm wrong.
