Hahaha! Dia, when I saw you had posted, I kNEW you were gonna bring up my 'shroomvroomvrooom problem!:thumb:
Hey, what if it gave Garrett a VISIONING like Dyan's? Naw, that would have to be a mission objective, totally linear, and maybe a cutscene. Does he see pagan ghosts, ancient Keeper's ghosts or secrets, Precursor ghosts or secrets?

Both. And/or slip them into guards/target's food/drink.

Who luvs ya Baby??!!! :ebil:
Well
somebody's got to keep an eye on you, jtr! After what happened last time ...... ;)
Good idea, btw. But I'd prefer the devs kept the linear stuff to TombRaider & the like (or cutscenes, as you suggested).
And we don't
EVEN want to know how you know what burrick-poop tastes like ...... :weird: ;)

Wouldn't be linear. There are many effects you could bestow. Enhanced hearing or vision. Seeing sound. Seeing echos of the past or the future. Enhancing speed or strength and so on.

Seeing brief segments of patrol routes as a whispy path into the immediate past and future?

Exactly. Or brief flickers of movement that show where the activity was in a room a few hours ago. That way you can work out what has gone on, how the events unfolded, where the hidden safe is, whether a door is locked and so if its worth risking a quick dash across a well lit area and so on.

As long as it's not another power-up players will want to win the game easier or need to get through a mission, I won't mind something like that. Really, may as well bring back speed, breath, invisibility, and slow-fall potions, too.

how about the exploding, spore-laden poisonous kind that you throw at enemies, who unwillingly ingest said spores and either die or become unconcious depending on the type of mushrooms used. ;)
