There is a good artist Wolfgang Voigt with nice musics for fms inspiration, check him as Gas - "nah und fern" a compilation of all Gas albums :

I know this is slightly unrelated but I did not want to start a new thread just to make this comment . I recently have been watching reruns of the "Wild Wild West" with Robert Conrad , it struck me how Thief like the show is with simple elevators , his rope arrow like thing that he shoots out of his gun , lots of caves with torches , knocking people out instead of killing them etc... I wonder if this had some influence on the creation of Thief way back in the beginning ?

Anyone remember the music that was uploaded onto this forum shortly after T2X was released? I think it was by Gonchong and it sampled Mogwai. It was good stuff and I miss it, it was on a comp that has now passed on. If anyone can post a link I'd be grateful.

Saxon Shore - Four months of darkness.

Their (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxon_Shore_(band)) wiki page show them standing apparently without irony in front of Stonehenge. Clearly Spinal Tap was lost on them. Great music though.
